Who do you think of when you hear the title King of Pop? Simple, it can only be Michael Jackson.
Known as the King of Pop, Michael Joseph Jackson was a best-selling American singer, dancer, songwriter, and philanthropist. He is considered to be one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. He influenced generations of artists with his blend of Pop, Rock, and R&B. Jackson’s music videos for “Beat it,” “Billie Jean,” and “Thriller” were groundbreaking and became MTV staples in the 1980s and are still frequently viewed today.
As a child, Jackson became the lead singer of his family’s popular Motown group, The Jackson 5. He began his professional singing career at the age of five by joining his brothers’ group as a backup musician before emerging as the lead vocalist. Later on after the group began succeeding, Jackson began his solo career while still performing with The Jackson 5. From here, off-the-charts his career went.

Michael Jackson was incredibly successful and is recognized as the most successful entertainer of all time.
