It is October, and guess what this means? Halloween!
Costumes, candy, Fall colors…at the zoo? Yes, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo will be hosting a Trick-or-Treat Fest for all families throughout the month of October.
The zoo will host their annual Trick-or-Treat Fest on Fridays through Sundays from 10:00 to 3:00, beginning on October 6 and concluding on October 29.
There will only be access to one trip through Trick-or-Treat Way, which includes 20 candy stations. Included with each purchased ticket are unlimited train and carousel rides, 4-D movies, and a monster mash dance party.
It is strongly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. Tickets for Trick-or-Treat Fest are $9 for non-zoo members, $7 for zoo members, and free admission for children two and under. Click this link to purchase your tickets.
Unfortunately, access to the zoo will include the purchase of a general admission ticket sold separately in addition to the Trick-or-Treat Fest ticket. General admission pricing is $19 for adults and ages 12-17, $17 for seniors, $15 for youth ages 2-11, and free admission for children two years and under.
It is encouraged that you bring your own candy bag if you are trick-or-treating. If you are planning on being the first 1,000 people to arrive, you can win a free candy bag.
This is a rain or shine event as there are no refunds after tickets are purchased. Parking is also free for everyone.
This weekend will be the start of this festive event, so tell everyone you know about it and experience a day of wildlife, learning, and Halloween fun.
