It is a new week, and there is information available for Brooklyn High School students and staff.

First, the Blood Drive that was scheduled for January 14 has been postponed to a further date; more information regarding the newly-scheduled Blood Drive will be found on Google Classroom in the very near future.

Secondly, with the rise of Covid-19 cases in Cuyahoga County, the Brooklyn City School District has issued a temporary mask mandate in order to ensure that students and staff are safe and taking precautionary measures to help stop the spread.

Lastly, depending on the amount of Covid-19 cases in the area, there may be a Spirit Week starting on Monday, February 7.  Additionally, there is a scheduled pep assembly on Friday, February 11, followed by a possible Winter Formal (dance) that evening. Tickets will be available for purchase from February 1-10. Many are excited for these events to occur, but safety is first and foremost.

There is a lot ahead and a lot to look forward to in the near future, so please, wear your mask over your mouth and nose.
