Mrs. Holko is the senior AVID teacher and a high school Spanish teacher. She has been a teacher for 17 years, all of them at BHS.  She received her education degree from Baldwin Wallace University and has been in education ever since. Outside of teaching, she has taken many students to Europe throughout her tenure and has built some lasting memories. She has a son, Jackson, and a loving husband as well as an extended family that includes all present and former senior AVID students.

Senora Holko is the most influential and motivational person that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Through the many commencement ceremonies and classes I have sat through with her, there is not one moment I would want to forget about.  She is a tireless worker and values teaching her students not just about the content but about life as well.

To Mrs. Holko, although we have not known each other for very long, it is easy to say that you have changed the lives of many. For years, you have led your students towards a path for a better future, whether that is furthering their education or going into the work force. Thank you for the best senior year anyone could ask for.
